Statement by IRIC Concerning the illegal violation of Thai troops to Cambodia Territory.

On 15 July 2008, about 40 Thai troops illegally violated Cambodian territory in a disputed border area near an ancient Hindu temple of Preah Vihear of Khmer. Cambodia applied for World Heritage status for the temple and was approved by Unesco earlier this month.

Concerning the illegal violation of Thai troops, International Relations Institute of Cambodia (IRIC) issued a statement absolutely condemning Thai troops for their aggressive violation of Cambodia sovereignty. Full Release››
