International Relations Institute of Cambodia “IRIC” is a Cambodian academic institution devoted to research, fact-finding, evaluation and recommendations.
The IRIC is a not-for-profit, non-political, independent research institution, established by Royal Decree No RS/RKT/0305/111/ dated 04 April 2005, and by the Decision of the Royal Government of Cambodia No. 35 SSR, dated 02 August 2005, in the framework of the Royal Academy of Cambodia (RAC). IRIC was officially inaugurated on 06 April 2006, with the initiative and long-term contemplation of H.E. SOK AN, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Office of the Council of Ministers.
As a not-for-profit, and non-political research institution, the IRIC focuses on issues affecting the development and welfare of Cambodian society with the goal of improving the quality of life of the Cambodian people through improved legislation and governmental action. Using an integrative problem-oriented approach, the IRIC brings together.
